that face
So, I have always wanted a dog. I had a dog growing up and she was my best friend. Fluffy was her name. She was the one who always agreed with me, listened to me and understood when a boyfriend dumped me or my parents made me mad. I thought I’d marry someone, have kids and get a dog. My husband, didn’t think the same. He is allergic to dogs. Not just like sneeze and move on allergic but like itchy eyes, can’t breathe, need an inhaler allergic. So, we compromised. The kids and I begged, pleaded and bargained and we broke him down. My friend Jen who works for an animal rescue called one day and had 2 puppies she had rescued from Virginia. She thought one would be perfect for our family, the family who wanted a dog, but didn’t want a dog. We met “Buttercup”. We changed her name to Zoe, and we fell in love. My husband the non-dog person now feeds her, cleans up her business out of the neighbors yard and loves her like we do. She is the best dog and has the cutest face with the weirdest body shape. We don’t know what kind of dog she is, but we don’t care. We {heart} her and she is the best. I challenge you to open up your home to a rescue dog if you are ready for a pet. They are truly the best types of dogs. She’s crazy like all of us now and fits into this nutty house perfectly. Thanks Zoe for being so stinking cute!
