Happy Thanksgiving

November 27th, 2008 , Posted in Lifestyle photography

This Thanksgiving I am thankful for so many things. My family most of all including my super supportive husband who has tolerated me starting a photography business, going back to college at Alvernia for more nursing courses and spending tons of money on a camera and lenses. Mark, I can’t imagine life without you and I am forever grateful at how self-less you are and how you make me a better wife and Mom. I am thankful for my kids, who everyday manage to make me laugh at something (even if it’s myself). I’m thankful for my parents, my house, my sister, a great group of friends and most of all my health. I pray this Thanksgiving finds you thankful for to many things to count.

4 kids and I tried….

November 11th, 2008 , Posted in Lifestyle photography

I can’t imagine having 4 kids under the age of 8 but my highschool friend Jane requested my services to take photos of her 4 kiddos for Christmas cards. I showed up with a smile on my face and determination to make it work, but it didn’t……getting 4 kids together, happy and willing to take a photo is nearly impossible.

I got some great shots of each child individually though and once we went up to her daughters room and she changed we did some fun “hanging out on my bed” shots. I love this, her face is priceless. Thanks Jane for sharing your clan with me. We’ll keep trying for that group shot. :)

and I love her 3 years old face here, cracks me up.

If you’re the praying kind

November 1st, 2008 , Posted in Lifestyle photography

My beautiful friend Kathleen who’s son was the adorable elephant I photographed a few weeks back needs all the prayers she can get. She is 19 weeks pregnant and her water broke. She is at home on bedrest but her little baby needs prayers, lots of prayers. I want so badly for her baby to be Ok. I want to use this chance to say if you are the praying kind, could you please keep her in your thoughts.

Thanks………
