a boy and his guitar

August 13th, 2008 , Posted in Lifestyle photography

I went for a run tonight and my 10 year old came with me and we found this awesome train track with graffiti artwork so we quick ran home, changed his outfit, grabbed his guitar and drove back to the location, all before we lost the light!!! Whew….I am constantly amazed at how big he is, how cute he is and what a good boy he has become. This my friends is the future American Idol……

thanks bud for being so quick!! Mom loves you.

can you stand the cuteness

August 12th, 2008 , Posted in Lifestyle photography

I had a photo shoot last week and I can’t believe the amount of awesome shots I was able to get from this family. The kids were so fun and willing to try anything I asked. I am busy selecting the ones for their gallery and it’s been hard. Both girls love their big brother and he was such a good sport. It’s hard to photograph 12 year olds, you just never know!! Thanks Andrew for being so kewl and tolerating the shoot. This is one of those “not so perfect” shots that I just love. I am not into everyone standing with props and saying “cheese” and this captures the fun and the love of these 3 and the silliness of the “little sister”. Cracks me up.

a new blog

August 11th, 2008 , Posted in Lifestyle photography

I am so super excited and welcome to my new blog. I am so grateful for Theresa for her help and her patience with my not-so-smart-webness. HA. I have been busy taking photos and editing my sessions and I can’t post without thanking my awesome family who has put up with my laptop being permanently a part of our family lately. I have truly found my passion and I am loving it. Keep checking back for updates and be sure to subscribe to the posts via email. I can’t go without posting a photo fav’ from my Rehoboth Beach session I did while on vacation. Love the enlarged web photos. :)
